The BounceBunchFairies leap, flutter and hide almost constantly. The tallest among them is only 1.5 inches high.  When they fly it’s more like a chicken does; not well at all. They leap higher than they can fly so there ABODE has many platforms, levels and openings to accommodate bouncing and hiding. A park walkway lies beneath the main living area.  Lots of antics go on down there. If you ever hear faint giggles in your ear it is likely the BounceBunch just enjoying who they are. Adorning this folk art home are squash, bean and caragana seeds, dried and silk flowers, trinkets and bobbles everywhere, mint grass, lichen and porcelain pieces and intricate interior and exterior wall and floor painting.  Mini prints of fairies by Nevada Dansie, built in shelving, furniture and appliances included but mostly there are many areas to play, bounce and hide.  The BounceBunch are the creators of tiny whirlwinds that you see now and again; dust bunnies swirling or a tiny area of leaves just suddenly spinning up like a twister into the air. Ever had a little tickle on your arm but when you tried to swish away the bug, nothing was there? That is the BounceBunch using you like a trampoline.  They serve Pan by being more grounded than other fairies as they tend to beneficial insects and the soil.  Inside they nurture your earthy instincts so if you get the urge to have more indoor plants or open a window for no logical reason, that is the BounceBunch connecting you to Gaia.  They also escort insects out of your house. Approximately 18” at its highest point and 18” at its widest, weighing about 6 pounds, the BounceABODE spins on a carousel so you can enjoy all angels.  Flameless candles light it up at night and you can reach in and see the rooms through the open roof.  All components are anchored; even the walls are jointed together.  A water base sealant will help keep the colors vibrant for years to come.  All materials are from discarded packaging, found, natural or re-purposed items, turning waste into ABODES makes this creation very eco-friendly. Frosty Playhouse

FlurryFairies will love this eco-friendly winter playhouse because it accommodates their whirling.  They say they are the true creators of Sufi dancing.  Approximately 19” with a 14” by 19” rectangle base, this ABODE weighs about 9 pounds.  A large detailed kitchen and living room with a reading area covers the main floor.  The second level has an indoor flying room with a see-through floor and a large bed and bath area with an ice ceiling that is also a rooftop skating rink.  Window and door openings are large enough to reach in which for these ghostly fairies is not an issue since they can move through solid objects like your hand.  All walls and floors are intricately crafted with non-toxic paint and adorned with trinkets, bobbles, antique wood, feathers, sunflower stem logs, tiny curios dried and silk plants and mini prints by Nevada Dansie. Two flameless candles light up the ABODE at night.  Like birds collecting materials for their nest, FairyABODE respects nature, sees abundance everywhere and utilizes the tiniest scraps as building and decorating materials.  The entire ABODE spins on a carousel so you can enjoy or play from all sides with ease. To see the FlurryFairies, imagine watching a small glowing white ball stuck on a fast spinning fan.  They make you dizzy or hypnotized if you watch too long.  This is how they get their life-force fuel plus they tell me its incredible fun.  Winter is their favorite season because there is slippery ice and untouched snow to freely play in plus less critters and insects to spin through. FlurryFairies are connected with the wind which they find hysterical because they are rather plump as far as WeeFolk go. Think cotton ball with legs, arms, head and wings. FlurryFairies are always in the eye or calm of any windstorm; they join together to actually create that calm. In photos they are seen as transparent orbs.  In your home they delight on riding ceiling fans, getting in front of a hair dryer or anything that blows air and are totally jazzed when they get sucked up into a vacuum.  This is like an amusement park ride to them.  When you feel a light cool breeze upon your cheek, that’s a Frosty FlurryFairy excessively whirling and kissing you.  Endless details inside and out in this folk-art playhouse will keep you and the FlurryFairies continuously fascinated.  Indoor use only.

LadyBug

LADYBUG – Corner FairyABODE© handcrafted by Peggy Zetler (Pegz)

When ladybugs emerge from their winter hiding places in the tall native grass, they immediately get busy.  Escorting these beneficial bugs are delicate, gentle fairies that interact with Pan to nurture spring growth.  Notice how ladybugs fly, how they do not instantly flee when humans are near…how they seem to want to be noticed and tenderly cared for; this too is true for FairyDrops.  These WeeFolk are called FairyDrops because they thrive in the spring and are the tiniest of fairies, no bigger than a raindrop resting on a leaf.  To them, the Ladybug FairyABODE is expansive and easily accommodates many WeeFolk which is perfect because they enjoy companionship.  Fourteen inches high and eight inches across at its widest point, this triangle shaped ABODE is adorned with found and repurposed trinkets, quartz crystals, feathers, broken porcelain tiles, dogwood twigs, bird nest, century old cedar shingle trim and mini prints by Nevada Dansie.  The first floor is a gathering location with a hand painted flameless candle. The second floor has a hanging bed, handcrafted sink, fridge, table and planter.  You and the fairies gain access through the partial open roof.  Lots of openings to peek in or reflect the glow of the night lights. The upper perch has a wax tulip flameless candle. 

The foundation of this one of a kind custom ABODE is made from discarded materials and natural, found or broken objects.  The structure is about two pounds built with dowels for strength on a felt covered wood base.  Nontoxic acrylic and fabric paint, prints and adornments are further protected with a water based sealant.  Adornments are set and anchored so the entire ABODE is not as fragile as it may seem.  Like birds collecting materials for their nest, FairyABODE respects nature, sees abundance everywhere and utilizes the tiniest scraps as home making material.  The extreme folk art detail will delight you as much as it will the FairyDrops who will easily enter your dwelling just like insect do.  FairyDrops will know you have a home for them inside.  Invite them in.  Let fresh air and sunlight into your home as often as possible.  This fuels FairyDrops.  Interior use only.

Peak-A-Boo

Approximately 13 inches high and eight inches wide, this intriguing eco-fairy friendly ABODE freely spins on a felt covered wood base so you can look into the many openings and enjoy the life of FindingFairies.  The WeeFolk who will quickly move into their new ABODE are about 1.5 inches in height and glow with the multi colors of fall.  Many live in your home now but they live without being asked to help which makes them slowly fade away.  They live to be of loving service.  When you have lost something just get calm and ask the FindingFairies for help.  Let go of your panic or obsession with finding whatever you lost.  Quickly there it will be clearly visible usually in a place you thought you already looked or you will get a notion to look somewhere you never thought it would be.  FindingFairies enjoy being found and finding materials to add to their ABODE.  Natural white sagebrush twigs, feathers, crystals, stones and dried grasses, leaves and Chinese lanterns adorn the fully decorated interior and exterior.  Handmade vases, mushrooms, ladder, swing, curtains blend magically with shiny found trinkets, broken porcelain, rope trim and discarded or dried decorative plants.  FindingFairies are passionate repurposers and see what human toss away as treasures.  They simply do not understand waste.
