Explorers of the new

This was written for my friend in India on the Facebook Rainbow Warriors page.  Thought it was appropriate for our blog.  I am not sure when I will be more blog consistent nor when I will be able to fully launch FairyAbode for all of you.  Like this last month, with the physical energy I have, it was time to make holiday gifts from scratch.  Way fun and healing.

Dear Explorers: I have been advising seed stage dreamers (entrepreneurs) for over three decades and providing on-the-spot counsel when spontaneous encounters appeared. The closest I could come to a term for what I naturally provided is Muse. I always knew it was an energy service or transfer of some sort for I was not an expert in anything so why would they deeply desire my continual counsel.

Over the last 5 years I have noticed a powerful trend in people wanting to earn a livelihood as a healer, an artist with a message, an advocate for humanitarian causes, entrepreneurs with triple bottom lines, innovators with solutions to critical problems, writers wanting to write something of deep value that helped them so they desire to help the masses... 

At first, with my consultant hat on, I suggested they find their unique target market and find what makes them special that people would be moved then to pay for. We all still live in a wrong-thinking economically entrenched society. The reason I suggested this was because the ‘market’ was getting flooded to the point of near overload with offers to help humans shift to love, not fear, and to free themselves of all blockages and separations to love. When I would review for them their uniqueness it did not seem unique enough to be distinguished in the ‘market’. It was all the same base principle with maybe a slight angle adjustment. The principle is to be love and be loving to self and all else.

On a non-income generating venue, say someone crazed with a deep compulsion NOT to do what they were known for and mastered but rather to earn little or no money and go on a distant archeological dig, I got excited inside for them and us. Yes they would need to plan, be steadfast and go against the expected norm and concern of loved ones. Yes they would need to figure out a way around the mandatory demands of the immersed financial system. They simply wanted to be happy and feel passion and joy. I felt this as the greatest value to our collective shift.

Acceleration in these individual yet collective changes is clearly evident in my microcosm. Interestingly, I started to actually get board hearing the same types of aspirations and practices to monetize the gift they feel inside. I too accepted that what I had provided and mastered as one of my expressions in life also was no longer a passion of mine. I became and am compelled with creating, from scratch, a therapeutic art business that then will fund the spiritual / climate / economic refugee and resilient land sanctuary dream. I have had zero income for over a year now and no capital or resources to fund even the website for my contribution so I too am an explorer manifesting a new path that does not at all fit the old paradigm.

Then I realized the numbers… that in the last two years, not one entrepreneur or change maker or passion practitioner was thinking or behaving with the old paradigm plans rigidly stuck in their heads. The traditional “how and have to’s” were the least of their focus. They simply wanted to show and share their shine in a more authentic way. 

Yet…the current crumpling old system still is and thus the counsel has mostly become how to deal with the mandates of the old which chooses not to allow innovation or love into the ‘market’. When I state that other kindred souls around the world are trying to be honest and comply with the old paradigm while at the same time inventing the new they get frustrated. “It should not be all about profits to the detriment of all else.” Their impatience is in feeling the new NOW, often clearly seeing mutual benefit and flowing processes filled with integrity and truth, but being told no by the old.

When I say we are explores creating paths for pioneers to follow (pioneers settle the new frontier) and that they, as explorers, chose to be here now for this very courageous and needed purpose they calm yet still feel stuck. The stuckness is of; backward government, unaware economics and their own we-they separation thinking. 

Yes, this is the last stranglehold the old still tries to force us to hold onto. Sharing the evidence that a revelation of love has swept the planet and that the new is and will be supported most say “yes but…” We all get the but BUT without us exploring and crafting the new on behalf of all, fear and separation may become more entrenched. What I realized about my boredom is that there are many levels and ways an explorer helps create a path for self and others. Diversity is survival.

Even though each passion practitioner or change agent sees what they desire to do as a one-of-a kind, unique expression (many of them have never kept abreast of the wave of spiritual love / healing directed teachings / actions around the globe) I now accept that the billions need many who will light the way for another and that replication and re-packaging is all as it should be to reach as many as is possible NOW. It’s taking the mechanism of the old and re-crafting it for the purpose of re-creating a new interconnected true value circular, divinely supported system of the future. 

My consulting has faded away. My counsel is in transpersonal and muse guidance in the new. In this I receive what others reciprocate but it’s not normally money. My gift is the development of my authentic passion in the new on behalf of all. I have no clue how to monetize anything nor how I will continue to survive without income but I do firmly know I am supported. 

Other explorers need to also feel this wondrous support for the difficult but worthy task at hand. It’s not an old-new or we-they circumstance anymore. We need to let the old go, give it little attention for it is falling by attrition. Surrender the chaos to spirit. As the explorers create multitudes of paths for pioneers to follow, the new is crafted.

We are breaking through collectively all around spaceship earth. Compared to eons of time before in our evolution, the timeframes are now blurred and in a cosmic blink of an eye, the new earth emerges. We bear witness to the chaos, atrocities and harms in our world by resonating our love to sooth and transform but we invest our heart, passion and contribution to somehow creating, in complete ambiguity, the beauty of the unified new. Ladybug – Corner FairyABODE© handcrafted by Peggy Zetler (Pegz)

When ladybugs emerge from their winter hiding places in the tall native grass, they immediately get busy.  Escorting these beneficial bugs are delicate, gentle fairies that interact with Pan to nurture spring growth.  Notice how ladybugs fly, how they do not instantly flee when humans are near…how they seem to want to be noticed and tenderly cared for; this too is true for FairyDrops.  They are called FairyDrops because they are the tiniest of fairies, no bigger than a raindrop resting on a leaf.  To them, the Ladybug FairyABODE is expansive and easily accommodates many WeeFolk which is perfect because they enjoy companionship.  Fourteen inches high and eight inches across at its widest point, this triangle shaped ABODE is adorned with found and repurposed trinkets, quartz crystals, feathers, broken porcelain tiles, dogwood twigs, bird nest, century old cedar shingle trim and mini prints from Nevada Dansie’s private fairy art collection.  The first floor is a gathering location with a hand painted flameless candle. The second floor has a hanging bed, handcrafted sink, fridge, table and planter.  You and the fairies gain access through the partial open roof.  Lots of openings to peek in or reflect the glow of the night lights.  The upper perch has a wax tulip flameless candle. 

The foundation of this one of a kind custom ABODE is made from discarded materials and natural, found or broken objects.  The structure is about two pounds built with dowels for strength on a felt covered wood base.  Nontoxic acrylic and fabric paint, prints and adornments are further protected with a water based sealant.  Adornments are set and anchored so the entire abode is not as fragile as it may seem.  Like birds collecting materials for their nest, FairyABODE respects nature, sees abundance everywhere and utilizes the tiniest scraps as home making material.  The extreme folk art detail will delight you as much as it will the FairyDrops who will easily enter your dwelling as any insect does.  Interior location only.  FairyDrops will know you have a home for them inside.  Invite them in. Approximately 13 inches high and eight inches wide, this intriguing eco-fairy friendly ABODE freely spins on a felt covered wood base so you can look into the many openings and enjoy the life of FindingFairies.  The WeeFolk who will quickly move into their new ABODE are about 1.5 inches in height and glow with the multi colors of fall.  Many live in your home now but they live without being asked to help which makes them slowly fade away.  They live to be of loving service.  When you have lost something just get calm and ask the FindingFairies for help.  Let go of your panic or obsession with finding whatever you lost.  Quickly there it will be clearly visible usually in a place you thought you already looked or you will get a notion to look somewhere you never thought it would be.  FindingFairies enjoy being found and finding materials to add to their ABODE.  Natural white sagebrush twigs, feathers, crystals, stones and dried grasses, leaves and Chinese lanterns adorn the fully decorated interior and exterior.  Handmade vases, mushrooms, ladder, swing, curtains and furniture blend magically with shiny found trinkets, broken porcelain, burlap trim and discarded decorative plants.  FindingFairies are passionate repurposers and see what human toss away as treasures.  They simply do not understand waste. Greetings to all FairyFolk.  Greetings to all who live in communion or desire to integrate the wee and small pleasures into your life.  FairyAbode(c) is a seed stage passion.  The desire to do and share has been in suspended animation for 54 years with bursts of learning and expressing in 3D earth throughout.  As the snows began to fall in winter 2012, I was energetically nudged to expand from creating custom FairyAbodes to give as gifts to creating templates so others could craft the same.  What I realized though, is that my passion for empowering and guiding transformation in myself and others through therapeutic art can also be incorporated into FairyAbode.  Quickly and in perfect timing and alignment with the capacities of the Internet, I finally realized that I should and could reach many people.

No two people or Abodes will ever be the same. They reflect the desires and ingenuity of the energies put into them.  Since, I have been playing with three prototypes toward producing three base kits.  The designer (you) choose where windows, doors and even wall insets and roof-lines go.  The kits take out the logical stress of frame construction.  FairyAbode is about environmentally kind imagination and adaptation so purposely the process and guidance activates that amazing aspect within you. Then customization of the interiors and exteriors with found and re-purposed items begins.  This is a process of love and patients for yourself and the wee folk.  Throughout the journey I intend to not only show you the 'how to' craftsmanship skills in videos but to nurture your enlightenment as you proceed.  The process is wonderfully addictive.  At first visualization is enhanced.  Next you begin to notice otherwise tossed or ignored 'things' or you look at something you look at all the time and see it in a different light.  You begin to have reverence for how you and others utilize what is around you.  You start noticing the wee and collecting found or re purposed do-dads or waste.  FairyFolk appreciate your environmental stewardship by you keeping stuff out of the landfills and recognizing how intricate, inter-connected and naturally abundant our environment is.  You do not necessarily know how these odd items might be used but something draws you to say flax seeds, buttons or even pet hair.  FairyFolk are like birds building a nest.  They collect from their environment with great reverence so that their resting and communal space reflects their inner personality.  This too will be true for you.  FairyFolk need and want your help.  The therapeutic coaching offered with the kits as well as planned AbodeBuilder forums and sharing options will enhance your experience.

To give you and example of personal growth... did you know there are no mistakes?  This is true in life as well.  There is always a silver lining, always a way to gain insight and skill, always a twist that makes the mistake more formidable than the controlled process intended.  Lets say you draw and cut out your windows which should be done before decorating or erecting walls.  Then you test the set up of the two first floor walls and see that you have two windows too close to a corner.  It feels all wrong.  You are mad at yourself.  If you you have no scraps around or choose not to use scraps to replace the walls you think you just ruined, you are guided to see through different eyes.  The mistake was apparently required for you to know you are not broken and you did not mess up at all.  Now when you look you see a corner bay window rather than two windows.  The corner becomes a stylish adaptation.  When you visualize your interior walls suddenly you see how unique the interior rooms will now look.  I will help guide you in seeing possibilities.  There is always a structural or technical way to 'fix' anything but first you must lighten up on yourself and be the magical being you are. By adapting, innovating and being creative you gain confidence and your being begins to flow with more ingenuity and confidence with any presumed mistakes in life.  The FairyAbode process is transferable to life.

It is said that to know your purpose you must have passion.  A passion is something; you would do even if you were not paid, something that when you are doing it, time is not a factor, something that gives you energy rather than robbing it.  Empowering others, crafting beauty and sparking magic does this for me.  I am at seed stage on your behalf starting in isolation with nothing the traditional start up needs to succeed.  I have faith it will come into tangible being regardless.  The winter has been about learning and creating the tools needed to secure interest and sponsorship so that I my share my passion on behalf of all of you and the FairyFolk.

I am glad I chose to blueprint and craft the three basic kits.  Adjustments for you come from my mistakes.

This blog will share the story of development and morph organically into whatever it becomes.  These pictures (done on a very old digital with no photographic skills) of the Peek-a-boo kit might ignite your interest. The structure is from building site scrap. This one is completely done now so stay tuned for posts of the final creation.  Thank you for your interest in the process of bringing FairyAbode to you even though I do not seem to be ready to be cooperatively 'commercial' about this yet.
